Sail 4 Cancer
Island Cruises is now supporting Sail 4 Cancer
The charity uses sailing breaks and holidays as a way to help patients and their families get away from the harsh realities of living with cancer by escaping to the sea and experiencing a complete change.
In support of Sail 4 Cancer's water based activities, Island Cruises will be making charitable donations, holding fundraising events onboard and providing discounted cruises for Sail 4 Cancer sponsored families.
Customers will soon be able to support the charity directly by making a small voluntary contributon to their holiday cost when they make a booking.
Graham Precey, the Chair of Trustees for Sail 4 Cancer said,
"We here at Sail 4 Cancer are delighted with our association with Island Cruises. Their generous help and support for the charity will create awareness about the work we do, and raise much needed funds to continue and develop the projects we are involved in to help more cancer sufferers and their families."
