Recife, Brazil
Things to do & places to see
A stunning city by the sea, Recife is known for its fantastic stretches of golden beaches, which are protected by offshore reefs and are perfect for swimming.
The city itself is one of Brazil's oldest and most intriguing with old colonial builings, churches, bridges and waterways giving visitors a taste of the country's past. The waterways give it the title of the 'Venice of Brazil', whilst nearby Olinda has been declared a cultural landmark by UNESCO for its amazing range of colonial architecture.
The ship is moored in port.
