ISLAND CRUISES ANNOUNCE CHARITY TIE-UP WITH SAIL 4 CANCER 18 Apr 08

Island Cruises is pleased to announce its support of Sail 4 Cancer, a UK based charity which provides much needed sailing breaks and water based holidays for families living with cancer. Sail 4 Cancer also raises funds for palliative care and research through a variety of water borne events.

For the first time Sail 4 Cancer will be offering cancer patients the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing cruise.  Island Cruises will be providing discounted cruises for Sail 4 Cancer sponsored families who are living with this terrible disease.

In additional support of Sail 4 Cancer's water based activities, Island Cruises will be making charitable donations and holding sponsored trade events in order to engage our agent partners in raising awareness and additional funds for this great cause.    Other ways in which Island Cruises will be looking to support Sail 4 Cancer include:
i. Onboard collection bins for guests and crew to donate
ii. Onboard charity events
iii. Awareness of the charity with the Island Chat/posters
iv. Awareness of the charity within the web and brochure
v. Voluntary guest contribution at time of booking.  (£1 per person bookable via Viewdata)
